How it works
- Your description is converted to a 768-dimensional AI embedding using Google's Gemini Embedding model.
- We compare your embedding against all patents in our database using cosine similarity (pgvector).
- The 12 closest matches are returned, ranked by similarity score.
- High (70%+), Moderate (45–69%), and Low (<45%) relevance labels help you prioritize.
⚠ Limitations
- Only covers patents enriched in our database (a subset of all patents)
- Does not search pending applications or pre-grant publications
- Does not cover non-patent literature or foreign publications outside our set
- Similarity ≠ infringement. Always consult a patent attorney.
