FAQ
Pricing — FAQ
Is PatentBrief really free?
Yes. Reading patent explanations, semantic search, the idea checker, glossary, tools, and weekly email alerts are free and stay free. Pro adds heavier-usage features on top — it doesn't take anything away from the free tier.
What will Pro include?
Unlimited idea checks (free tier is rate-limited), instant alerts when new patents match your watches (free is weekly), exportable PDF reports for sharing with cofounders or counsel, and API access for programmatic search. Pricing is planned at $19/month, with founding-member pricing for the waitlist.
When does Pro launch?
We're sizing demand with this waitlist now. Waitlist members get first access and a founding-member discount when it opens.
